Terms of Service
Terms for using AI Calls, including outbound calling responsibility, recordings, transcripts, credits, and provider boundaries.
Last updated: 2026-06-21
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using AI Calls, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use the service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
Service Description
AI Calls provides software for configuring AI phone assistant profiles, placing immediate or scheduled outbound calls, billing usage through platform credits, and storing call results such as status, duration, transcripts, summaries, and archived recordings.
The current v1 service supports controlled single-call workflows. Bulk campaigns, inbound calls, user-owned provider keys, phone number purchase, workflow builders, realtime call control, and user outbound webhook delivery are not public v1 capabilities unless separately agreed in writing.
Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for your account credentials, API keys, users, roles, settings, assistant profiles, contacts, runtime variables, target phone numbers, and all activity under your account. API keys must be stored only in trusted server-side environments and must not be embedded in browsers, mobile apps, public repositories, or client-side code.
Calling Responsibility and Consent
You control who is called, when calls are scheduled, what the assistant says, and what information is passed into each call. You are solely responsible for:
- Having a lawful basis to call each recipient.
- Complying with telecom, marketing, robocall, AI disclosure, do-not-call, opt-out, and data-protection rules that apply to each country or region you call.
- Giving required notices and obtaining required consents for automated calls, AI-generated speech, recording, transcription, summarization, and analysis.
- Honoring recipient requests to stop, opt out, or restrict future contact.
- Ensuring assistant prompts, variables, and call content are accurate, lawful, non-deceptive, and appropriate.
You may not use the service for emergency calling, high-risk decisions without human review, unlawful surveillance, harassment, fraud, impersonation, spam, malware, or any activity that violates applicable law or third-party rights.
Countries and Local Rules
Country availability, pricing, provider routing, and call deliverability may vary. A country appearing in a rate table does not mean every use case is lawful in that country. You are responsible for evaluating and complying with local calling, recording, AI disclosure, data residency, and consumer-protection obligations before placing calls.
Recordings, Transcripts, and Summaries
Call recordings, transcripts, summaries, and analysis may contain personal information and may be regulated in the jurisdictions involved. You are responsible for the content you submit and for any notice or consent required before recording or processing a call.
Transcripts, summaries, and AI-generated analysis can be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. You must review important outputs before using them for customer communications, legal obligations, billing decisions, medical, financial, employment, housing, or other high-impact decisions.
Data Retention
Retention and deletion of account, billing, credit ledger, call, provider evidence, recording, transcript, summary, and analysis records are described in the Privacy Policy. Some records may be retained for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, security, and platform auditability even after account closure.
Billing, Credits, and Pricing
Calls are billed through the platform credit ledger. The platform may reserve credits before a call and finalize the charge after provider reconciliation. Country pricing snapshots are stored with each call so historical call billing does not change when future rates change.
Credit packs, subscription credits, included monthly credits, expirations, refunds, and adjustments are governed by the pricing terms shown at checkout and any written agreement. Provider costs are operator evidence and do not directly define the customer bill unless a written agreement says otherwise.
Provider and Storage Boundaries
AI Calls uses third-party providers for voice calling, telephony, transcription, summarization, storage, hosting, payments, email, and analytics. Vapi is used as a provider adapter for outbound calling. The platform owns the customer-facing call job, profile version, pricing snapshot, credit ledger entry, transcript, summary, and authenticated recording download surface.
You must not attempt to bypass the platform, scrape provider internals, access private storage object keys, use upstream recording URLs as customer-facing links, or construct provider payloads against undocumented internal behavior.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Violate laws, regulations, telecom rules, sanctions, or third-party rights.
- Call recipients without required authorization, notice, or consent.
- Misrepresent caller identity, purpose, pricing, affiliation, or AI involvement.
- Upload or transmit unlawful, harmful, defamatory, discriminatory, abusive, or deceptive content.
- Interfere with the service, probe private infrastructure, reverse engineer security controls, or overload provider routes.
- Resell, sublicense, or expose the service in a way that hides your responsibility to end users or recipients.
Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access, block calls, revoke API keys, disable recordings, or restrict countries if we believe use violates these Terms, creates risk to recipients or the platform, causes provider issues, or may violate law. You may stop using the service or close your account according to the available account controls.
Service Changes and Availability
The service depends on third-party providers and telecom networks. Calls, schedules, recordings, transcripts, summaries, storage, payment processing, and webhooks may fail, be delayed, or be unavailable. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee call completion, exact scheduled dialing time, transcript accuracy, summary accuracy, provider availability, country deliverability, regulatory compliance for your use case, or uninterrupted access.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or claims arising from your calling practices, recipient complaints, provider failures, or your failure to comply with applicable laws.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the product, providers, laws, or operating practices change. The updated date at the top of this page shows when these Terms were last revised.
